The section of torso, both front and back, that is covered by a bra is often a target for unwanted fat deposits and droopy, sagging skin. As collagen levels in the skin decrease, the skin loses its youthfully tight and smooth appearance, resulting in wrinkles and sags. In addition to the natural progression of aging, having children and breastfeeding can also cause changes to the breasts that cause them to lose their perky appearance. Fluctuations in weight will also accelerate this process – unwanted fat deposits can accumulate around the shoulder blades, and weight that is gained and then lost leaves the skin stretched and loose.

Excess fat that noticeably spills over the constrains of a bra can be incredibly embarrassing and limit wardrobe options for many women. Our Bravitalize package is designed to target the bra area so that you can confidently go out in spaghetti straps, swimwear, and tight-fitting tops.

CoolMini to Fight Bra Fat

Tired of unwanted fat deposits hanging over your bra, both in the front and in the back? CoolSculpt is on the cutting edge of fat elimination techniques, as it targets fat alone in a way that hasn’t been possible with other fat removal methods. Other treatments use lasers, ultrasound, scalpels, cannula, and more; they successfully remove fat, but not without causing damage to the surrounding tissues. These methods work, but are also associated with bruising, swelling, and bleeding during the recovery process, as the surrounding tissues heal from the damage caused.

Now, the benefits of fat removal are possible without the side effects and recovery period. Fat freezes at a higher temperature than skin and muscle, so cold is the perfect weapon to target fat without harming healthy tissue. CoolSculpt technology freezes the fat cells, causing them to then dissolve and be reabsorbed by the body, while you’re free to go about your day without unwanted side effects.

IPL for Chest

Intense Pulsed Light (IPL) is one of the most popular options for facial rejuvenation (known as a “photofacial”), but its therapeutic benefits aren’t limited to the face alone. Unlike lasers, which use a single wavelength of light to aggressively target imperfections in the skin, IPL treatments employ what is called broad-spectrum light to more successfully target multiple layers of skin. IPL addresses surface-level skin blemishes such as hyperpigmentation or sun spots, while simultaneously affecting a deeper level of the skin to stimulate collagen growth.

The way that IPL creates brief but intense pulses of light allows it to rejuvenate the skin, both on the surface and underneath, without damaging healthy skin cells. For spots, stretchmarks, and other imperfections on the chest, IPL can restore a smooth, healthy, even pigmentation. At the same time, the body’s natural collagen production mechanism is initiated, smoothing wrinkles and restoring a youthful tautness to loose, sagging skin.

Underarm Laser Hair Removal

Underarms are a popular target area for laser hair removal – especially during the summer, when you want to wear tank tops and spaghetti straps and go to the beach, it can seem like you’re constantly having to shave your underarms to keep up with the hair that can grow back so fast and dark. What’s more, skin irritation at the constant friction of shaving can result in ugly red bumps and an itching or burning sensation.

Laser hair removal is a long-term solution that will leave the skin of your underarms consistently smooth and hair-free. Unlike waxing or tweezing, which remove the hairs but still allow for them to grow back, laser treatments target the actual root of the hair itself to prevent regrowth. Most patients require no anesthetic for this noninvasive procedure, but a topical numbing ointment may be provided for your comfort. By the completion of 4 treatment sessions, most patients have achieved permanent hair loss – whatever your personal needs are, we’ll continue until the undesired hair gone.

Beverly Hills Back and Chest Rejuvenation

At Lasky Aesthetics & Laser Center, we are committed to providing you with the nonsurgical cosmetic interventions you need from a background of rigorous medical knowledge and expertise. These days, countless beauty spas have sprung up, claiming to be qualified to carry out these procedures, but all too often, the reality is that the practitioners performing the procedures lack the training and knowledge necessary to truly understand the tools they’re using. They may be able to provide some positive results, but their technique lacks the precision of that of someone with the appropriate scientific background.

While the procedures we perform are overwhelmingly noninvasive and extremely safe, they are still medical procedures and should be treated as such. Our Los Angeles-based practice was founded by four doctors who are all renowned in their respective fields, and every procedure performed in our office is carried out under their training and guidance.

The Lasky Aesthetics & Laser Center is a full service cosmetic facility specializing in nonsurgical treatment. To find out more about the Vbeam in Beverly Hills can help you out or to schedule a consultation, please give us a call today.

New protocols for office visits View Update

New protocols for office visits

May 12th, 2020

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we have instituted many changes to your normal office visit. These changes have been introduced to protect everyone’s health and safety during your visit. All of our staff have been tested for COVID-19 and are negative. They are being monitored daily as well and will be practicing safety guidelines.

  1. If you are sick, do not come to the office. Call our front desk and we will reschedule your appointment promptly once you’re healthy again.
  2. Please wear a mask to your appointment.
  3. Do not bring someone else with you to your appointment. They will not be able to enter the office and wait for you. The only exceptions are for those who require medical assistance or translation assistance. Additionally, please do not bring any pets to the office with you.
  4. The day before your appointment, as in the past, you will be called to confirm your appointment. During that call you will be asked if you have any symptoms like fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste. You will also be asked if you have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or have been traveling on a commercial airplane within the last 2 weeks.
  5. When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office from your car. A staff member will either tell you to come up to the office at that time or will ask you to wait in your car until they text you to come up. Before entering the front door of the office, you will be met by a staff member who will take your temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer to be sure you don’t have a fever. They will again ask you if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. You will be given a mask if you don’t have one, as well as hand sanitizer since you touched the doorknob to enter the office. We will stagger appointments so that on the day of your treatment, you will not interact with any other patients.
  6. You will be taken directly to an exam room which has been cleaned and disinfected just prior to your arrival. There are also air filtration machines installed in each exam room which sterilize the air.
  7. Our medical assistants, who will be wearing N95 masks and protective eye shields, will take your history and prepare you for your visit. You will be asked to sign a new COVID-19 consent form in addition to any of the usual consent forms you may be used to.
  8. After your treatment, you will check out while in the exam room and any products you purchase will be brought to you. If you give us your credit card information the day before your appointment, we can handle the checkout without physically touching your card.
  9. Please try to make your follow up appointments during your office visit. With new scheduling changes and staggered appointments, last minute appointments may be difficult to schedule.
