A woman’s body can be significantly altered by pregnancy and childbirth. During the nine months of pregnancy, the abdomen stretches to accommodate the growing child, and many women gain weight –nature’s way of ensuring the baby will have adequate resources to grow. Combine that with changes to the breasts in preparation for and during breastfeeding, and many mothers are left with a drastically different figure, which can linger or be permanently altered.

Many women struggle to get their “pre-pregnancy body” back, and this could be impossible without help. Our Mommy Makeover package combines the benefits of four separate treatments to target some of the most common complaints of women who suffered serious changes in appearance after pregnancy, childbirth, and breastfeeding.

Coolsculpting for Unwanted Fat

Baby weight can be hard to shake, and some stubborn fat deposits are not affected by lifestyle changes such as diet and exercise. Cosmetic interventions to remove excess fat, such as liposuction and laser treatments, are invasive procedures that require time during which to recover. These technologies are not sophisticated enough to target fat cells alone, so surrounding, healthy tissue is also affected by the treatments. CoolSculpting, on the other hand, takes advantages of the fact that fat has a higher freezing point than other cells, allowing it to specifically target them while leaving other tissues intact. Once frozen, fat melts away and is naturally shed by the body, without harming healthy cells, leaving no scarring, bruising, and requiring no downtime.

Upper Arm CoolSculpting

Cellutone to Treat Cellulite

Even for women who are satisfied with the body shape and contour, cellulite can make it difficult to feel confident about hips, thighs, or backside. Embarrassment about the dimpled, lumpy texture of the skin causes many women to feel uncomfortable in a bathing suit or other revealing clothing. Cellutone treats cellulite with the use of therapeutic vibrations to increase blood flow to the affected area, which accelerates lymphatic drainage, decreasing the presence of unwanted fat cells. Cellutone is a noninvasive, pain-free procedure, performed in several sessions.

BTL Exilis Ultra to Tighten Loose Skin

Loose, drooping skin and folds are all too often a reality of life after bearing children. BTL Exilis Ultra is a groundbreaking technology that combines two common therapeutic options – ultrasound waves and radiofrequency emissions – to maximize results. The foundation of the treatment is heat, and the combination of the two techniques allows therapeutic temperatures to be reached much sooner. Exilis uses heat to stimulate and accelerate the body’s natural processes for waste removal and the regeneration of damaged tissues, resulting in younger-looking, tighter skin.

Vbeam or Fraxel Dual for Stretch Marks

While the abdomen stretches to accommodate the growing baby during pregnancy, giving birth is the equivalent of undergoing dramatic weight loss in a matter of hours. The skin has been stretched well beyond its normal proportions, and will takes some time to readjust. Even when the skin is shrunk back to its usual size, many women have unsightly, visible stretch marks.

For red, visible stretch marks, Vbeam laser therapy is an effective treatment option that works by heating the blood pathways, causing them to constrict, reducing red in the skin. Other stretchmarks may benefit from Fraxel Dual, which rejuvenates skin for a younger, smoother appearance by triggering the body’s natural production of collagen.

New protocols for office visits View Update

New protocols for office visits

May 12th, 2020

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we have instituted many changes to your normal office visit. These changes have been introduced to protect everyone’s health and safety during your visit. All of our staff have been tested for COVID-19 and are negative. They are being monitored daily as well and will be practicing safety guidelines.

  1. If you are sick, do not come to the office. Call our front desk and we will reschedule your appointment promptly once you’re healthy again.
  2. Please wear a mask to your appointment.
  3. Do not bring someone else with you to your appointment. They will not be able to enter the office and wait for you. The only exceptions are for those who require medical assistance or translation assistance. Additionally, please do not bring any pets to the office with you.
  4. The day before your appointment, as in the past, you will be called to confirm your appointment. During that call you will be asked if you have any symptoms like fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste. You will also be asked if you have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or have been traveling on a commercial airplane within the last 2 weeks.
  5. When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office from your car. A staff member will either tell you to come up to the office at that time or will ask you to wait in your car until they text you to come up. Before entering the front door of the office, you will be met by a staff member who will take your temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer to be sure you don’t have a fever. They will again ask you if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. You will be given a mask if you don’t have one, as well as hand sanitizer since you touched the doorknob to enter the office. We will stagger appointments so that on the day of your treatment, you will not interact with any other patients.
  6. You will be taken directly to an exam room which has been cleaned and disinfected just prior to your arrival. There are also air filtration machines installed in each exam room which sterilize the air.
  7. Our medical assistants, who will be wearing N95 masks and protective eye shields, will take your history and prepare you for your visit. You will be asked to sign a new COVID-19 consent form in addition to any of the usual consent forms you may be used to.
  8. After your treatment, you will check out while in the exam room and any products you purchase will be brought to you. If you give us your credit card information the day before your appointment, we can handle the checkout without physically touching your card.
  9. Please try to make your follow up appointments during your office visit. With new scheduling changes and staggered appointments, last minute appointments may be difficult to schedule.
