For the past few decades, women have enjoyed an endless stream of exciting new injectables aimed at restoring youth and vitality, reversing sun damage and mitigating genetic facial flaws such a weak cheekbones or a double chin. However, much has changed since the inception of dermal fillers, and today men represent the largest growing client base for these life-changing cosmetic compounds.

As the competitive challenges in the workplace multiply, many men desire the confidence and assurance that cosmetic treatments such as Botox, Restylane and Kybella can provide without the invasive incisions, anesthesia and tedious downtimes associated with traditional surgery.

Why choose Lasky?

Although at first glance, administering an injection may seem easy, there is no substitute for the experience and skill of a highly trained, board certified physician when it comes to preserving spontaneity and natural expression in the face. The cosmetic specialists at Lasky possess the artistic eye and nuanced approach necessary for beautiful, sustainable long term results. Our conservative application method highlights your innate attractiveness rather than attempting to overwhelm your face with too many changes at once. Awarded a Platinum Level status designation from top injectables manufacturer Allergan, Lasky performs more dermal filler treatments than 90% of cosmetic practices in the US, making us the natural choice for anyone seeking aesthetic improvement in the Beverly Hills area.

Botox and Dysport

Both Botox and Dysport work to paralyze the muscles responsible for contraction during repetitive everyday facial expressions such as laughing and frowning. For over a decade, Botox has led the way as the most effective and popular injectable on the market in the anti-aging crusade for resilient, youthful skin. With Dysport on the rise, more and more men are opting to improve the look of moderate to severe frown lines between the eyebrows. Once these tiny muscles are frozen, they cannot continue to cause lines, folds and wrinkles, which in turn produces the smooth, supple skin required for a well-rested and radiant countenance. Exploiting the unique properties of hyaluronic acid, an organic compound depleted from the body through the aging process, Restylane offers dramatic wrinkle reduction, eradicating unsightly folds and furrows while it hydrates the skin cells. In cases where the lips need a makeover, Restylane Silk provides brilliant recontouring and augmentation without feminizing the appearance.

Loss of facial volume is one of the biggest challenges facing aging men, but thankfully there is a dynamic new filler called Radiesse that can plump, invigorate and restore hollow cheeks and a lackluster complexion. Radiesse relies on minute doses of calcium hydroxylapatite, compounds that hydrate and rejuvenate the skin from the inside out while triggering the growth of new collagen.

Treatment areas

Key areas that respond to dermal fillers include:

  • Nasolabial folds (smile lines)
  • Crow’s feet (lines next to the eyes)
  • Glabellar folds (forehead furrows)
  • Marionette lines (laugh lines)
  • Double chins
  • Depleted lips
  • General wrinkles
  • Hollowness in the cheeks
  • Loss of overall facial volume and suppleness

Kybella is the exciting new injectable that uses deoxycholic acid, a naturally occurring compound in the body, to liquefy and eliminate the bulging fat deposits that constitute the dreaded double chin. Sidestepping the cumbersome drawbacks of surgery and lipo, Kybella elegantly firms and sculpts the upper neck for a stronger, more conventionally masculine profile.

New protocols for office visits

May 12th, 2020

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we have instituted many changes to your normal office visit. These changes have been introduced to protect everyone’s health and safety during your visit. All of our staff have been tested for COVID-19 and are negative. They are being monitored daily as well and will be practicing safety guidelines.

  1. If you are sick, do not come to the office. Call our front desk and we will reschedule your appointment promptly once you’re healthy again.
  2. Please wear a mask to your appointment.
  3. Do not bring someone else with you to your appointment. They will not be able to enter the office and wait for you. The only exceptions are for those who require medical assistance or translation assistance. Additionally, please do not bring any pets to the office with you.
  4. The day before your appointment, as in the past, you will be called to confirm your appointment. During that call you will be asked if you have any symptoms like fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste. You will also be asked if you have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or have been traveling on a commercial airplane within the last 2 weeks.
  5. When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office from your car. A staff member will either tell you to come up to the office at that time or will ask you to wait in your car until they text you to come up. Before entering the front door of the office, you will be met by a staff member who will take your temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer to be sure you don’t have a fever. They will again ask you if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. You will be given a mask if you don’t have one, as well as hand sanitizer since you touched the doorknob to enter the office. We will stagger appointments so that on the day of your treatment, you will not interact with any other patients.
  6. You will be taken directly to an exam room which has been cleaned and disinfected just prior to your arrival. There are also air filtration machines installed in each exam room which sterilize the air.
  7. Our medical assistants, who will be wearing N95 masks and protective eye shields, will take your history and prepare you for your visit. You will be asked to sign a new COVID-19 consent form in addition to any of the usual consent forms you may be used to.
  8. After your treatment, you will check out while in the exam room and any products you purchase will be brought to you. If you give us your credit card information the day before your appointment, we can handle the checkout without physically touching your card.
  9. Please try to make your follow up appointments during your office visit. With new scheduling changes and staggered appointments, last minute appointments may be difficult to schedule.
