The Beverly Hills Non-Surgical Facelift for Facial Rejuvenation

Juvederm Voluma before and after.

There are several options to consider when you want to improve the appearance of your face or body. With the advancements of injectables, lasers and skin care, you can achieve a more youthful appearance by tightening loose skin, improving the skin’s texture and tone, and adding volume. This combination of treatments is what is known as a non-surgical facelift and can often be used in place of a surgical face lift procedure.

During a surgical facelift, your skin is cut slightly behind your hairline and reattached a little farther back than it was originally to pull the skin tighter and lift it into a new position. However, going under the knife isn’t the only option for wiping away the signs of aging. Thanks to the Beverly Hills non-surgical facelift, facial rejuvenation can be a flattering experience while being far less invasive than a surgical facelift.

A Beverly Hills nonsurgical facelift can include any or all of the following procedures:

Thermage

Thermage is a non surgical procedure that uses radiofrequency energy to help smooth and tighten the skin. This treatment can be performed on your face or body and both men and women are great candidates. Thermage heats the underlying skin and creates new collagen over time so that your skin looks firmer, tighter and improves the overall texture.

Botox Injections

With Botox injections, you get a small amount of botulinum toxin injected immediately below your skin into the facial muscle. This relaxes the muscles, which keeps them from contracting. When the muscles don't contract, your wrinkles don't appear as deep or as often. Botox also prevents new wrinkles from developing. The effects of Botox are usually seen within 7-10 days; however, your face will look relaxed and rejuvenated immediately.

Voluderm

Voluderm is NEW and unique in that it is a combination of radiofrequency and micro-needling to resurface, tighten and strengthen the skin while stimulating hyaluronic acid, collagen and elastin production beneath the skin. Lasky Aesthetics, with the help of Beverly Hills dermatologist Dr. Mark Rubin, is one of only 3 offices in Southern California to offer this treatment, and we’re participating in a 20-patient clinical trial to test Voluderm as an anti-aging treatment for the neck.

TriPollar

The Tripollar laser skin care treatment is another radio frequency treatment used for skin tightening and wrinkle reduction in our Beverly Hills practice. Tripollar is controlled energy delivered to a targeted area and regenerates the collagen fibers in the skin. This treatment delivers great results with little-to-no downtime; however, a series of 6 treatments is recommended to achieve the best outcome.

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers like Juvederm and Restylane are great for adding volume and improving the appearance of wrinkles. There are several types of fillers that have varying consistencies. Thicker fillers can be used in the cheeks, while thinner fillers are best for small cracks around the mouth and for lip augmentation, like the new Restylane Silk.

Benefits of the Beverly Hills Nonsurgical Facelift

The most obvious benefit is that the procedures are non-surgical and you'll have little-to-no downtime. Some of these procedures can be performed during your lunch break and are less expensive than a surgical procedure.

Ask our Beverly Hills facial aesthetics experts which procedures would benefit you the most. Feel free to reach out to us and schedule a consultation which would be your next great step toward returning your face to its youthful appearance.

New protocols for office visits View Update

New protocols for office visits

May 12th, 2020

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we have instituted many changes to your normal office visit. These changes have been introduced to protect everyone’s health and safety during your visit. All of our staff have been tested for COVID-19 and are negative. They are being monitored daily as well and will be practicing safety guidelines.

  1. If you are sick, do not come to the office. Call our front desk and we will reschedule your appointment promptly once you’re healthy again.
  2. Please wear a mask to your appointment.
  3. Do not bring someone else with you to your appointment. They will not be able to enter the office and wait for you. The only exceptions are for those who require medical assistance or translation assistance. Additionally, please do not bring any pets to the office with you.
  4. The day before your appointment, as in the past, you will be called to confirm your appointment. During that call you will be asked if you have any symptoms like fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste. You will also be asked if you have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or have been traveling on a commercial airplane within the last 2 weeks.
  5. When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office from your car. A staff member will either tell you to come up to the office at that time or will ask you to wait in your car until they text you to come up. Before entering the front door of the office, you will be met by a staff member who will take your temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer to be sure you don’t have a fever. They will again ask you if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. You will be given a mask if you don’t have one, as well as hand sanitizer since you touched the doorknob to enter the office. We will stagger appointments so that on the day of your treatment, you will not interact with any other patients.
  6. You will be taken directly to an exam room which has been cleaned and disinfected just prior to your arrival. There are also air filtration machines installed in each exam room which sterilize the air.
  7. Our medical assistants, who will be wearing N95 masks and protective eye shields, will take your history and prepare you for your visit. You will be asked to sign a new COVID-19 consent form in addition to any of the usual consent forms you may be used to.
  8. After your treatment, you will check out while in the exam room and any products you purchase will be brought to you. If you give us your credit card information the day before your appointment, we can handle the checkout without physically touching your card.
  9. Please try to make your follow up appointments during your office visit. With new scheduling changes and staggered appointments, last minute appointments may be difficult to schedule.
