Facial Feminization in Los Angeles: Non-Surgical Options for Transgender Patients

Caitlyn Jenner, the former Olympian and decathlete, transitioned gracefully into a woman and an advocate for LGBTQ causes. Demonstrating the magic of facial feminization in Los Angeles, Jenner's transformation from top male athlete to independent woman with model-worthy features shines a light on the ways aesthetic specialists can support physical enhancements for people embracing their transgender selves. If genetics aren't on your side, feminization of your features using nonsurgical cosmetic options can provide the finishing touches you need to complete your journey.

Facial Feminization with Dermal Fillers

Feminine facial features are typically soft and rounded compared to male features. If you still have the sculpted lines that project a strong and masculine presence, our aesthetic injection specialists can add volume to soften the strong planes on your face.

Transgender Cheek Augmentation

Our aesthetic specialists use Voluma, a facial filler, to build up the volume of your cheekbones during our cheek enhancement procedure. Transgender cheek enhancement will push up and round out your cheeks while lifting and tightening your facial skin. The result is apple-shaped cheeks, smoother skin, and a younger and more feminine appearance.

Plump, Feminine Lips

Say goodbye to thin and stern-looking lips that typify men who mean business. You can still project a no-nonsense image with full lips and a well-shaped pout using injections of volume-augmenting fillers such as Juvederm or Restylane Silk products that provide lip augmentation.

Dermal fillers are minimally invasive treatments that are injected in strategic areas under your skin. They are used to fill out indentations that create aging shadows on your face. As a bonus, your skin appears smoother as fine lines are minimized!

Botox for Transgender Patients

Botox has become synonymous with facial anti-aging, treating fine lines, frown lines between the brows and crow's feet. Botox and Dysport are made with weakened formulations of the botulinum toxin. The toxin blocks the signals from nerve cells to muscles, preventing contraction and relaxing the muscles, resulting in smooth, unlined skin.

Wrinkles are a natural part of aging, but there's no need to put up with it if you don't have to. Botox and Dysport treatments are convenient procedures with very little downtime. Our experienced professionals will ensure you can resume your normal routine very quickly.

In addition to softening fine lines in the upper face, Botox is also useful in the lower face. Interrupting the contraction process of tissues in your jaw area will soften the jawline, enhancing your efforts at facial feminization in Los Angeles. With Botox or Dysport, your jawline becomes softer and more feminine.

Men's eyebrows tend to grow under the brow ridge while female brows grow above the ridge. Our aesthetic injection specialists also use Botox or Dysport to give you a brow lift, pushing your brow line higher and erasing wrinkles in the process.

New protocols for office visits View Update

New protocols for office visits

May 12th, 2020

In light of the COVID-19 pandemic we have instituted many changes to your normal office visit. These changes have been introduced to protect everyone’s health and safety during your visit. All of our staff have been tested for COVID-19 and are negative. They are being monitored daily as well and will be practicing safety guidelines.

  1. If you are sick, do not come to the office. Call our front desk and we will reschedule your appointment promptly once you’re healthy again.
  2. Please wear a mask to your appointment.
  3. Do not bring someone else with you to your appointment. They will not be able to enter the office and wait for you. The only exceptions are for those who require medical assistance or translation assistance. Additionally, please do not bring any pets to the office with you.
  4. The day before your appointment, as in the past, you will be called to confirm your appointment. During that call you will be asked if you have any symptoms like fever, chills, muscle aches, cough, sore throat, shortness of breath, loss of smell or taste. You will also be asked if you have been recently exposed to COVID-19 or have been traveling on a commercial airplane within the last 2 weeks.
  5. When you arrive for your appointment, please call the office from your car. A staff member will either tell you to come up to the office at that time or will ask you to wait in your car until they text you to come up. Before entering the front door of the office, you will be met by a staff member who will take your temperature with a no-touch forehead thermometer to be sure you don’t have a fever. They will again ask you if you have any symptoms of COVID-19. You will be given a mask if you don’t have one, as well as hand sanitizer since you touched the doorknob to enter the office. We will stagger appointments so that on the day of your treatment, you will not interact with any other patients.
  6. You will be taken directly to an exam room which has been cleaned and disinfected just prior to your arrival. There are also air filtration machines installed in each exam room which sterilize the air.
  7. Our medical assistants, who will be wearing N95 masks and protective eye shields, will take your history and prepare you for your visit. You will be asked to sign a new COVID-19 consent form in addition to any of the usual consent forms you may be used to.
  8. After your treatment, you will check out while in the exam room and any products you purchase will be brought to you. If you give us your credit card information the day before your appointment, we can handle the checkout without physically touching your card.
  9. Please try to make your follow up appointments during your office visit. With new scheduling changes and staggered appointments, last minute appointments may be difficult to schedule.
