How to Choose a Medical Spa in Beverly Hills

Beverly Hills is, without question, the mecca of beauty. It’s for this reason that there are so many options for where to receive beauty treatments. With such a growing market of people seeking non-surgical cosmetic enhancements to look and feel amazing, many practices have popped up promising high-quality procedures at rock bottom prices. Many of these practices fail to deliver, leaving clients with poor results and unwanted side-effects. With so many patients with botched Botox, overfilled lips, and poorly applied fat reduction treatments, how can you protect yourself and choose the best medical spa in Beverly Hills?

Why is it Important to Choose the Best Medical Spa in Beverly Hills?

First and foremost, choosing an aesthetic medical provider means choosing based on medical credentials and not just cosmetic promises and low prices. “Non-surgical” does not mean “without risks or side-effects.” For safe, lower-risk cosmetic procedures, your providers must do the following during your consultation:

  • take a full medical history
  • perform an examination
  • go over your prescriptions and over-the-counter medications
  • discuss your supplements and herbal remedies with you
  • determine if you can safely receive treatment
  • provide you with pre- and post-procedure instructions
  • communicate potential side-effects of every procedure with you

Many aesthetic medical providers do not fulfill the requirements ensuring safe and effective application of non-surgical cosmetic procedures. It’s important to fully vet any practice and providers you’re considering to protect yourself and give yourself the best opportunity for excellent cosmetic results.

What Makes a Great Medical Spa in Beverly Hills?

A great medical spa in Beverly Hills will provide you with the following:

  • licensed medical providers with extensive experience in aesthetics:
    • plastic surgeons
    • dermatologists
    • physician assistants (PAs)
    • nurse practitioners (NPs)
  • extensive, personalized consultations
  • track record of superior cosmetic results
  • focus on patient care, safety, comfort, and education
  • provider accessibility for post-procedure questions and concerns

Your Provider's Credentials Matter

By choosing a board-certified physician, PA, or NP, your provider is licensed to diagnose a range of conditions and prescribe treatments and aesthetic solutions for a variety of cosmetic concerns. While licensed aestheticians are qualified to provide skin care treatments such as facials, microdermabrasion, and superficial peels, they are not legally permitted to administer many non-surgical cosmetic treatments like Botox and dermal filler injections.

PRACTICE POLICY UPDATE REGARDING COVID-19

Coronavirus (Covid-19) Update

March 23rd, 2020

After serious consideration and in line with the recommendations of our State and Centers for Disease Control (CDC), we are closing the practice until Mid April.

Your health and well-being is our primary concern and we want to do our part to make sure that you are protected.

Effective immediately the following will occur:

  • All procedures and in-person consultations will be suspended until further notice.
  • The office will be available for Retail and PrePaid Packages as well as to answer any and all questions and concerns.
  • Virtual Consultations are available upon request.

We are constantly updating our services and staffing according to the local and national recommendations and will always place your health and well-being as our top priority.

We continue to exercise all the latest recommendations that are handed down by the CDC. These include:

  • Staff have been fully informed and trained to understand the disease process and its modes of transmission.
  • All staff, vendors and ancillary personnel are being asked to refrain from coming to this office if they have any signs or symptoms of a cold or an upper respiratory tract infection.
  • Every patient is also being asked to refrain from coming to the office if they have any symptoms.
  • We are asking our patients about any pertinent travel history.
  • Hand-washing continues to be the most important mode of prevention. Although it is a part of what we constantly do, now we are doing so with heightened vigilance and attention.
  • We have instituted a “no handshakes no hug” policy for now.
  • We have asked all vendors that any unnecessary meetings are canceled until further notice.
  • As we are an accredited medical facility, we are constantly sanitizing all surfaces. We have now vamped that up and our routine, multiple times a day, wiping down all surfaces, desks, door handles, keyboards and restroom facilities. We have assigned a person that does so on a constant basis.

Although Covid-19 is a serious issue, we strongly believe that it will pass and hopefully make our infrastructure and our ability to deal with pandemics in this Country even better than it currently is. We are monitoring this situation on a real-time basis and will not sit back until we know that we have done everything possible to avoid unnecessary exposure.
