Expert cosmetic age management in Beverly Hills
In the cosmetic world, there are two primary goals. The first is cosmetic enhancement. This type of treatment seeks to improve some aspect of a patient’s appearance by altering a particular feature. This would include procedures such as rhinoplasty, which changes the shape of a person’s nose. It may also include facial fillers, which augment some part of a patient’s face, as their cheeks or lips. Whatever the treatment, the basic goal is to change, even if slightly, the way a person actually looks.
The second goal is age management. This type of treatment prevents the signs of aging while maintaining your basic appearance. While this certainly includes procedures that restore facial volume, such as dermal fillers, it also includes maintaining the health of one’s skin. At the Lasky Aesthetics & Laser Center, age management is a large part of our practice. Every procedure we deliver is intended to provide results not just now, but far into the future.
Three stages of age management
Age management isn’t just for people with mature skin—it can be done at any stage of a person’s life to help maintain vitality and glow. At Lasky, we offer three distinct stages of age management to help any patient defy the signs of aging.
Typically reserved for patients in their 20s, preventative age management is mostly concerned with maintaining healthy, voluminous skin. Because each patient has a unique type of skin, the prevention phase is different for everyone. In order to make sure prevention is right for you, we begin your treatment with a thorough consultation. During this time, we perform a series of examinations to find out everything we need to know about your skin. Once we have all the information necessary, we can recommend which treatments are right for you.

The maintenance phase generally applies to patients in their 30s and 40s. It’s during this time that wrinkles and fine lines begin to form, so our treatment is geared towards maintaining collagen beneath the skin and keeping the texture of the skin as smooth as possible. Treatment options for the maintenance phase include light chemical peels, moderate use of facial fillers, and other techniques to restore skin tightness and volume.
During the mature phase of age management, the Lasky Aesthetics & Laser Center takes a very unique approach. While other cosmetic facilities will advertise that you can “turn back the clock” and “restore your youth,” we have a slightly different goal in mind. You see, we’ve found that when patients receive too much “age defying” treatment, it looks phony and unnatural. At Lasky, we don’t necessarily want to make you look younger than you are—we just want to make you look darn good for your age.
The Lasky Aesthetics Difference in Beverly Hills
At the Lasky Aesthetics & Laser Center in Beverly Hills, we believe that each patient is unique, requiring his or her own treatment that is different from anyone else’s. That is why patients will fly from Europe, Canada, China and Mexico to our Los Angeles MedSpa for this personal experience.
In today’s marketing world of “thrilling” and “fabulous” procedures, the cosmetic industry is moving away from the standard medical approach of a treatment plan for each patient and more towards a confusing mess of à la carte services.
When you come in with something you’d like to change about your appearance, our first step is determining a proper treatment plan for you. This is done with a thorough consultation, complete with listening to your goals and understanding who you are.Learn more about how we're different »
